Voting experience - Ahaverse
BACKGROUND
Ahaverse is an Metaverse experience for India's largest Telugu OTT platform Aha
In a joint endeavor, Aha and IPVerse designed a metaverse experience for Aha's OTT platform, enabling users to engage with their shows within the metaverse from their preferred location

OVERVIEW
A promotional event for educational institutions was carried out by IPVerse on Ahaverse, inspired by Aha's hit series Sarkaar.
IPVerse was hosting a campaign Sarkaar: A Battle of Colleges where more that 350+ colleges from all over will be able to participate and compete for the ultimate prize.

EVENT FORMAT
The event was divided into two phases.
Phase 1: Intra College League
Phase 2: Inter College League

GIVEN PROBLEM STATEMENT
How might we implement voting for
phase 1
Our aim was to develop a system that simplifies vote drafting for users while also boosting user engagement.
EXISTING OPTIONS TO HOST VOTING
In our quest to simplify and democratize student voting, we first explored options such as Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, and other potential platforms for hosting votes.
The problems faced…..

HOW DID I PROCEED
I chose to steer the voting via the primary Sarkaar webpage.
This has the potential to educate audiences concerning the Sarkaar game event, in addition to inciting increased involvement in following installments, whilst maintaining effortless accessibility online.
WHAT EXISTS
Sarkaar Page
Participants may gain knowledge about the concept of the game show, potential rewards, and sign-up information.

Ahaverse admin portal
Through the Ahaverse admin portal, our idea is to monitor and execute polls effectively, aiding in the consolidation and export of voting information efficiently
THE USAGE
Given that the voting system is intended for students, I prioritised a mobile-first strategy.
Considering that 79% of students in India depend on smartphones, giving priority to mobile guarantees access to a broad user base
THE APPROACH
We've opted to design our platform's layout with a nod to the likes of Google forms, Microsoft forms, and Strawpoll
Even though we cannot fully draw inspiration from these platforms, we still have to focus on maintaining our user base.
USER JOURNEY
There were two ways in which the journey was designed
1. General process: here, pupils can look up their universities and other institutions to vote for their beloved squads

Collge URL, a hyperlink of the university will be directly delivered to the university liaison or POC (point of contact) to distribute the URL on their campuses.
