I've always loved diving deep into whatever I'm doing.
I'm fascinated by the hidden insights that reveal themselves when you simply take the time to sit and observe. For me, the real "wow factors" are found in the details most people walk right past.
Design is the most mind-bending path you can take. It's a constant loop of asking why we're building something, figuring out how, thinking "okay, maybe this can work", and doing it all over again. It's a refusal to just be satisfied. An endless hunger for change.
Growing up in Pune, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out exactly who I wanted to be. Some days I wanted to be like Messi. Other days, as brave as Hrithik Roshan in Lakshya.
Most of the time, I wanted to be an automobile designer. My notebooks were constantly filled with sketches of customized cars. (You can blame Paul Walker and my introduction to JDM culture for that.)
Eventually, that obsession with how things are built turned into a fascination with how people interact with tech. I shifted to UX, which led me to a life-changing phase: pursuing my Master's in UX at MIT Institute of Design, Indore.
And I do mean life-changing. Design pushed me out of my comfort zone in ways I never expected. It made me chase after so many things that it sparked an entirely new lifestyle.
I found a new hobby in running. I can hit a 5k in 30 minutes (amateur, but I'm proud of it.)
I danced in front of a crowd, something I had never done in my entire life. I learned things I never thought I would before coming here. Above all, I learned how to truly understand and manage people, emotions, and schedules.
My journey into UX is driven by this exact desire to learn and connect. It's deeply rooted in community, whether I'm feeding off the collaborative energy at local UX meetups, or exploring complex spaces like information architecture and speculative design.
